How Recruiters Can Leverage COMPASS to Strengthen Their Solutions 

At our recent event with personal verification experts Veremark,  members were able to get exclusive insight on overcoming the challenges of COMPASS.  Below are some take-away tips on how recruiters can leverage COMPASS for a competitive advantage.
 

Recruiting firms are currently leveraging the COMPASS immigration rules to offer two types of solutions:

1.      End-to-End Solution: This includes obtaining the mandatory verification proofs from an MOM-authorised provider like Veremark for the work pass application. The firm charges the client an additional service fee to manage the entire process.

2.      Referral Solution: The firm refers the client or candidate to Veremark or another authorised provider, allowing them to order their own report and manage their own work pass application.

One common challenge faced by recruiters is the unexpected costs imposed by universities for verification checks, which can range from USD 30 to USD 300. Veremark, indicated that they are the only provider on MOM's approved list that charges a flat rate, including school fees or costs for investigating fraudulent cases.

• Order Verification Checks Early: This helps buffer for any delays from schools that may take longer to verify records, especially if the candidate graduated many years ago. This proactive approach helps avoid potential delays in your MOM application.

• Stay Informed: Not all HR professionals understand the impact or requirements of COMPASS.
