Here’s how Singapore can help travel retail brands capture growth in Asia

With travel retail resurging in Asia, Singapore stands out as a prime location for travel retail headquarters due to its connectivity, proximity to burgeoning markets, and proven consumer innovation.

Consumer behavior in the Asia-Pacific travel retail sector is shifting, with a growing preference for unique and exclusive products driving brands to adapt their strategies. Savvy travelers are seeking personalized and differentiated retail experiences, often favoring duty-free prices and exclusive product bundles. This shift is fueling the global travel retail market's growth, projected to more than double from S$81.44 billion (US$60.72 billion) in 2023 to S$197.2 billion (US$145.46 billion) by 2030. Companies are responding by restructuring operations to capture more market share in the APAC region.

On May 13, the Tax Free World Association (TFWA) Asia Pacific Exhibition and Conference in Singapore will gather industry leaders to explore emerging trends and opportunities in travel retail.
