Healthcare workers in Singapore from 9 professional bodies to get more help in union tie-up

In Singapore, the Healthcare Professionals Community (HPC) was launched to provide support for approximately 9,000 healthcare workers from nine professional associations. This collaboration between the Healthcare Services Employees’ Union (HSEU) and these associations aims to enhance training, career development, and welfare, particularly for those in private healthcare and specialised fields, such as optometrists and psychologists. The initiative also includes mentorship programmes and efforts to help healthcare workers adapt to industry changes, while seeking to improve wages, welfare, and job prospects​.
